I have this problem where I show a project completed, take a picture of it in the garage, then never show it living in my home.
One would think I just have piles and piles of finished projects living in my garage somewhere near my car.
Bahahahaha!
Sorry.
It’s just that I kinda do have piles of projects both finished and not surrounding my car.
BUT… I do have a few that I have never shown their final resting place.
So… here’s a few of my previous projects finally spread throughout our house.
Remember my artist feature for Adam Ford? I cut the mat board myself, used some frames from Costco, and got the art framed in our bedroom.
The no-sew pillow I made is now living in Matthew’s room near his magnet board.

I picked up a new antique soda crate on ebay. I needed one more for storage in the studio near my sewing table.
Here you can see it on the bottom.
(I have actually made a few changes in the studio that I will be posting soon.)
If you follow my Facebook page, you’ll remember me sharing the delightful event of me hanging this light all by myself in my kitchen.
Did I mention on Facebook I only swore twice?
No?
Then I probably didn’t swear at all.
And lastly, I took the white desk out of the girls room, that was living under their bedroom window. It felt cluttered between the nightstands, and I realized no one was using it anyways.

Much better.
I have been thinking about making some changes to the girls room for awhile too.
The girls have had this bedding for seven years now, and Taylor has had enough of the pink. What on earth will I ever do with this pink rug??? I am thinking of flipping it over and painting a pattern on the back side.
Am I crazy?
Just a side note, if you answer that question, it is in reference to painting the rug only.
It is not in reference to my lifesyle as a whole.
Just so we are clear.

Love your ideas. Can’t believe I actually have some similar items…a old coca~cola crate and my uncle’s WWII black chest to name a couple. How did you clean up the chest? Your chest looks shiny and it looks as if there is something added to the handle (the grip part of mine is broken off). Anyway, thanks for showing your decorations. Do you show on Pinterest?

Hi Brenda! The blue chest came as is. It’s banged up, but the handles were already in good shape. I just wiped it down with a cloth to clean it.
I am on Pinterest! You can view my own pins here:
