Polaroid Photo Display

4 years ago by in Antiques, DIY, family, handmade, Home Decor

Once upon a time I took a gold frame and made a pretty display for organizing earrings.

Then I went to put it in my master bedroom closet, and quickly realized I did not have an inch of wall space to spare.

Seems I started and completed a project with no concerns about where the finished project would go.

If only it had been a first time offense…

No worries, it’s all good.

I found it a home in the girls room, and now it holds Polaroid photos.

Which basically consist of:

-Pictures Evey took.

-Pictures Evey asked me to take of her.

Which reminds me, one of these days I am going to take at least a week and document her outfit every morning.

That girls has some serious style.

Or she is color blind.

Either way, she does not have my clothing genes.

Or jeans.

(Mostly because I lounge in jeans every day, and I can’t remember the last time she wore a pair.)

Here’s how the frame looks in the girls room:

Since I don’t have a lot of wall space to hang photos, (downside to high board and batten), I love that I now have this for displaying pictures.

And it encourages Evey to take more photos.

Which makes Taylor crazy because Evey is always trying to sneak up and take a picture of her.

Which makes the girls scream at each other.

Home sweet home!
