It’s been a VERY long week, but we are finally starting to feel a little settled in our new home.
It all still seems so surreal that we no longer live in our old house.
I don’t even like calling it, “The Old House.”
I will call it the Lehi House.
I miss the Lehi House.
I love our new home, like absolutely love it, but I miss my old house. And I miss my close friends. And I miss the school teachers that I knew so well. And I miss having my younger brother and sister so close.
Fifteen miles feels like a million right now.
If you want to see pictures of our new house as I put things together, be sure to visit me on Instagram HERE. (You can see a few shots I have already shared below.) I am way too tired and overwhelmed to pull out my good camera right now. Perhaps the first of January I will snap some good shots of our new space.
Now — I must start thinking about Christmas! I don’t have a single holiday decoration up inside, and the kids don’t even dare ask when we will decorate. If anyone wants to come over and decorate a Christmas tree for me, feel free to come over.
Side note: you should probably also pick us up a tree.
