I know, I know, you are dying to see the big kitchen reveal.
I promise it’s coming soon!
Tomorrow at the latest. Or next week at the latest. One or the other for sure.
I am equally excited about our master bathroom reveal… which is today! Hooray!
Ready for a before shot? ‘Course ya are.
Yeah, I know. Very 90’s. It sure has potential though! Except for that light fixture. It has no potential whatsoever.
So here’s the process we went through for the master bath. First I switched out the light fixture. Next we had the cabinets repainted. (More on that when I show the big kitchen reveal!) Then we added hardware to the cabinets, and lastly I framed the bathroom mirror.
The Mirrorscapes kit was really easy to put together. I think I had it all done in about an hour. You start with adhering plastic place setters in the corners with adhesive strips already attached. You measure from the corner pieces, and you only have to make straight cuts with the molding. The molding pieces are impressive too, in both size and quality of materials.
The best part was no angled cuts, and I didn’t have to paint.
Hooray for taking a break from painting!
The design really fits our colonial style home perfectly too.
Oh, man. I have cut and painted molding for mirrors before, and never again! This was so easy, I can’t wait to buy more for our kids bathroom.
Oh, and yeah, besides our kitchen and our master bath I am also remodeling our kids bathroom. Ya know, no biggie. (Insert weeping and heavy wheezing.)
Ready to see the after shot???
Isn’t it nice when you actually enjoy spending time in your bathroom each morning?
Up next is some tile work around the tub and shower, and we are still trying to figure out the flooring. New tile? Wood? Walk away for awhile? Who knows; but you know I will keep you posted!
