The flowers in my backyard are totally awesomsauce right now.
The weeds not so much.
I have given up on requiring the wearing of regular clothes around here.
Lily insists on wearing swim wear most days.
I am calling it progress since most days she just wants to be naked.
Shouldn’t she be growing out of that by now???
My parents just submitted papers to serve an LDS mission.
I cannot comment on how I feel about it because my response is totally selfish.
And I don’t know how my opinion will ever change. Unless they move somewhere tropical that I can go visit.
Maybe.
Just look at all the grandkids they will be leaving behind for 18 months! (Minus baby Charlotte.)

I seriously wish we had one in Utah, it is such a brilliant idea and amazing resource for teens and adults.
The built-in bookshelf for Taylor’s room is almost done. I made it all (mostly) by myself.
I also learned how to make homemade candles, and holy cow it is fun!
FYI: Making homemade candles is more intimidating to me than building a bookshelf.
And messier too.
