DIY Polka-Dot Sunglasses

1 year ago by in Uncategorized

Remember the 80′s when we put polka dots on everything with a straight pin and pencil?

Well, if stone washed jeans and neon bracelets can come back around, I’m bringing back the straight pin.

Here’s what you need in order to make some hot polka-dot sunglasses:

Pencil & Pin

Sunglasses

Craft Paint

Just dip and dot, and dip and dot. Yup, it’s that easy.

I used a silver metallic craft paint. A permanent paint marker would work well too.

The sunglasses are cheap knock-offs that I picked up at a local Down East store for $5 each. TJ Max and Ross sell fabulous sunglasses for about the same price.

I also tried a bright blue craft paint with a pair of brown sunglasses.

Hello spring sunshine, here I come!
