Deseret Book – Gospel Vision of the Arts Scholarship Program & Art Auction

I am so excited to attend the upcoming art auction that Deseret Book is hosting this weekend! The Gospel Vision of the Arts scholarship program is a wonderful collaboration of many local artists whom have painted over 30 custom-made wood blocks to be auctioned at the downtown Salt Lake City Deseret Book store. 100% will go to this scholarship program created to benefit an aspiring artist.

Twelve LDS artists will also be showing large originals and framed prints – all available for purchase.  Refreshments round out the activities.  This is a large art event!

If you are in the area you can join Deseret Book this Friday and Saturday the 26th and 27th of October. If you can’t make it Friday or Saturday the paintings will be on display at the store until Dec 10th 2012.
